Main features of the Phasemation PP-500 Cartridge

• The PP-500 cartridge is a “trickle-down” design from the higher-end PP-2000 model, incorporating many of its design philosophies but at a more accessible price point.
• The DLC (diamond like carbon) coating on the body is retained to provide rigidity, vibration control, and electrical insulation
• Its compliance is relatively low, which tends to favor medium to heavy tonearms for optimal mechanical matching
• Because of its low output (0.3 mV) and low impedance, a low-noise MC phono stage or step-up transformer is advisable.
