The IB2, MB2, BB5 PMC SE speakers and the spectacular twin-cabinet XBD versions are found in premier studios all over the world. The SE models combine the finest British cabinet-making traditions and cutting-edge acoustic R&D techniques to achieve new standards in sound reproduction and musicality.

IB2 SE

The IB2’s are renowned in professional studios and are often the preferred loudspeakers amongst the world’s leading music-makers and producers such as Kraftwerk, Teldex of Berlin and JVC of Japan. No other loudspeaker the size of an IB2 can compete in terms of transparency and dynamics. The combination of the legendary PMC75 mid-range driver and 10-inch piston driver results in exhilarating, emotional performances. A dedicated IB2-C SE centre channel is also available. 

MB2 SE – mid-size in the PMC SE speakers range

This three-way model is the mid-size model in the SE range. It delivers the emotion and clarity of the IB2 but can resolve even greater bass details. It can easily produce low frequency audio at a staggering 20Hz. Its radically engineered Radial bass unit offers superb physical and thermal stability. A dedicated MB2-C SE centre channel is also available.

BB5 SE – largest in the PMC SE Speakers range

The BB5 is the largest in the SE range. A 15” Radial™ bass unit allows the speaker to handle music with the widest dynamic range with absolute ease and confidence. The BB5 can handle not only the loudest works but also subtle acoustic materials with delicacy. No other passive loudspeaker offers this level of resolution and feeling of high-reaching headroom. A dedicated BB5-C SE centre channel is also available.

MB2 XBD

For those who crave greater depth and the feeling of limitless scale, the twin-cabinet MB2 XBD se is the solution.
