The SolidSteel VL Rack is a modular rack system designed with vinyl in mind. Built with damped aluminum threaded pillars, the VL Series is composed of MDF shelves – 1280×410 mm, with a thickness of 22 mm, finished with high quality polymeric laminates in Walnut finish.
Whether you already have a large collection of LPs or a Hi-Fi system, the VL series rack is the perfect solution for all music lovers, especially for fans of vinyl records in search of the right place for system building and record storage. The VL-2 rack is designed for accommodating a record collection and a minimal audio system (eg. a turntable and an integrated amplifier, with bookshelf speakers on both sides).
- The SolidSteel VL Rack is available in 2, 3 or 4-shelves. Each 12.8” shelf can fit roughly 120 LPs. Depending on your LP’s dimensions, each shelf can accommodate roughly 120 records. Extra kits are also available to expand shelf space.
- The distance between the VL shelves is approx 325 mm between the first and second shelf, and approx. 225 mm for subsequent shelves.
- So you can have a: VL-2: [325], VL-3: [325/225] and VL-4: [325/225/225].
- It is then possible to purchase separately the following kits:
